How to generate more leads on LinkedIn with Google Sheets

LinkedIn is a great source for B2B lead generation - around 80% of B2B leads come from LinkedIn, out of all leads sourced from social networks. Headhunters, growth hackers, sales assistants, independent developers like myself - we all use LinkedIn for sourcing.

You can search manually with a free account or you can gear up your work with LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

But what if you already have a list with hundreds of company names on it?

Or, what if you can't use your personal LinkedIn account for lead generation? πŸ€”

Here comes Lead Beagle.

This add-on lets you search for leads on LinkedIn without using LinkedIn at all, straight from your spreadsheet. There is no need to integrate or connect LinkedIn to Google Sheets.

Let’s see how it works in a step-by-step guide.

What you need:

  • List of company names.
  • Job titles of your target segment.
  • Google Sheets.

Step 1. Install Lead Beagle for LinkedIn add-on from G-Suite Marketplace

Step 2. Open or create a spreadsheet in Google Sheets and run the add-on from the Add-ons menu.

Step 3. Add company names and job title keywords for each company

You can search as many companies and roles as you wish. For smaller companies, you would usually search for decision-making roles like CEO, founder, CTO, CMO, marketing, product, sales, support, procurement.

Step 4. Run search

Lead Beagle's search in action.

Now you have a list of specific people and their roles at the companies of interest.

What's next:

  • Approach them manually on LinkedIn or set up an automated workflow with a tool like Dux-Soup.
  • Enrich profiles with external data - country, industry, website, etc.
  • Find work emails by name and company domain.

Fruitful searching!
